Dandelions

West Virginia

Among the fallen leaves, the warm day time sun brings out the dandelions, the last of the summer flowers to survive the below freezing night time temperatures.

Another terrific black and white image, Karen! Dandelions are super hardy. I love a yard full of them but nobody else seems to. \/

This is beautiful. In B&W, the dandelion really stands out. I was looking at the remaining dandelions today and noting a few sulphur butterflies still out and nectaring on them. V
