Hurricane Sandy brought a major snow event to the Appalachian mountains with blizzard conditions. Winds reached over 60mph and snow here is two feet deep. We do get snow this early but nothing like this.
Virtually the entire state is without power except for a few pockets. I happen to be in one. So far. Lights have flickered and digital clocks have reset so there are voltage changes.
These are just snapshot taken around the neighborhood. It is still to windy and cold and snowy to get anywhere far.
