This was arrival day in Dublin airport. The sign was sort of funny, but so serious
for those of us from the USA. We drive on the correct side, the Irish and Brits do not!

We were in Dublin on a great shopping day.
The city was very active and had tons of sight-seers everywhere.

This is a sample of Alpine Sea Holly which is also known as Queen of the Alps.
It was used by Native Americans to cure rattlesnake bites. It comes from South European alps
but can be found also in Finland.

This is Dog Rose and is a deciduous shrub native to Europe.
They are often used for making tea, juice, marmalade and syrup.

I've been on one in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
We drove into the Delaware River on that trip.
Also was on one of these in Portland, Maine.

I was impressed at how clean and relatively quiet the streets of Dublin were.

This is why downtown Dublin is soooo clean.

I wondered why it was called the Temple Bar and then I saw this plaque that let me know.

Wimbledon was one while we were here this week.

Yup, that's me outside the Gaiety Theatre where we saw River Dance. What an experience to see it here.
