Wow,this is one I haven`t seen!Fantastic shot,I have no clue why this works so great,but it does.
Must be the risky and unexpected compo,I love this!:-)

Like this shot - every now and then you see something with this kind of foreground / background interplay which really works and this has just enough of the right elements going on for that to happen here too. The eye naturally follows the story as it starts with the girl on the right and moves left to the other girl and then follows the trail of kids who are in focus. For the familiar, this has a nostalgic feel of the fun and tackiness of Essex. For the uninitiated, i'm sure it must be equally interesting.

interesting picture,
with equidistance between subjects,
and the echo between the two cuted women (dr jekyll and m. hyde ?),
and a touch of graphics with the shadow.
It give the impression of a suspended moment, without time,like those that occur on sundays afternoon
