The Bombardier 415 is a Canadian amphibious aircraft purpose-built as a water bomber. It is the only aircraft designed and built specifically for aerial firefighting and is based on the company's CL-215. It is marketed in the United States as the "Superscooper." San Diego County has leased two Super Scoopers to aid during the peak 3-months of fire season - Sept 13th to Dec 13th.

Superscooper has a four-compartment water tank that can hold 1,621 gallons of water or foam mixture. Can pick up water from a lake, ocean or reservoir in 12 seconds while traveling 80 mph.
