Iranian people on February 10, 2013, celebrated the Islamic Revolution's 34th Anniversary in Tehran and other Provinces of Iran and staged massive and nation-wide demonstrations. In these demonstrations, millions of supporters of Iranian 1979 Revolution and the leader Ayatollah Khamenei shouted slogans against American, Israeli and British governments and supported the Islamic Revolution's aims. They believe that economical and political sanctions cannot defeat the nation.

Pishgam (Farsi: پیشگام‎, "pioneer") (formerly کاوشگر ۵ Kavoshgar-5 ("Explorer-5") is an Iranian rocket which launched on 28 January 2013. It contained a rhesus monkey and is one of a series of Iranian rocket launches containing biological cargo which are intended as precursors to human spaceflight.
