This church is designed by Guojon Samuel in 1937. It is based on his vision of the shapes and forms created by the cooling lava into basalt rocks. It also houses the Gargantuan pipe organ which stands 15 meters tall and weigh 25 tons.
Standing in front of the church is a statue of Leifur Erikson, the first European to have landed and discovered America before Columbus.
