This is my first near encounter and shot of the beautiful snake. My macro Sifu Peter Lee spotted it at a urban location (Casuarina) in a small bush by a palm tree next to a private dwelling. This female pit viper is slightly longer than a foot and was only 2 feet from the ground where it was resting.
