Not too long ago, Lake Nakuru is overwhelmed with flamingos. Flamingos population was estimated to be closed to 2 million. Due the rising water level which affected the algae in the lake, most have moved on to other places like Lake Barringo.
The lake now is replaced by a huge population of pelicans.
