We arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport just before 3pm. Immigration and custom's clearance was short and without any fuss.
At the arrival hall, we were met by our guide from Kenia Safaris and Tours (Joseph Nyamai). Off we went, loaded our stuff into the Toyota Land Cruiser. Traffic from the airport to Nairobi city was very heavy. The journey of about 12km to Boulevard Hotel took more than an hour. Since it was our first trip, we did not mind the traffic and it allows us to look at the city of Nairobi. If you think the traffic in Bangkok is bad, wait time you sit in a car that takes 2 hours to travel 3km.
The boss of Kenia (Mr A Bhatt) was caught in such a jam when we was on his way from his office to meet and brief us at the hotel.
