One place I had to visit while we were in Tokyo was the Shibuya Station. You may wonder why. Many years back when I was still a student in the UK, I watched a Japanese movie about a dog named Hachiko. The story (a true story) is about dog (Hachiko) remaining faithful to his master. For 10 years after his master/owner passed away, Hachiko wait at the Shibuya train station daily for his master to return from work. This bronze statue was put in front of Shibuya train station in memory of Hachiko.
It is quite difficult to get hold of the original Japanese movie but it was recently remade into an English movie staring Richard Gere. Movie tittle is Hachiko.
