The rooms are small but again not crampy. The amenities provided is excellent. We were given a smoking room initially but upon request, they shifted us to a non smoking one without having us go to the reception. I forgot to add that all guests are required to take off their shoes and placed them into a locker (provided free) and move around the ryokan barefooted or with socks. When they changed our room, they even moved our shoes into the new locker.
