On the first night at Tsumago, the owner told us to have dinner early as they are having "ice lamp". When we were approaching the main street we saw lots of lamps on the side street and did not really think much of it. Then we realised it was made out of ice.
Don't know what the occasion was and could not get much from the net. See next photo for a close up of the "ice lamp".
