The onwer of Daikichi, Nobuka-san (right). She is such a motherly figure making sure we were warm, well fed and well informed of the happenings around Tsumago. Mind you, she does not speak much English but that did not stop her from making every effort to explain what was in our meals.
She is very well travelled but after her husband passed on she stopped. She related most of her happy moments in Europe, Hawaii and yes...Singapore.
I think she will remember me well....because I drained the hot tub after I finished and that denied her and family a hot soak.....sorry maam....I'll remember next time...
