Thanks everyone! What I was most taken with when I found this shot was the huge range of subtle colour in what looked at first sight to be an almost monochrome seascape. The way the sky went from very slightly warm on the right to an almost minty ice on the left and the subtle tones of the sand and water. What I love about my Kodak is that all that colour gets recorded somewhere - you just have to go mining for it and you have to accept the need to do different versions for print and for screen. Tim

Ah Tim, but sometimes processing (aging?) cheese brings out the best. You did this one very well.

Oh dear, terrible pincushion distortion on that lens (you knew some wit was going to say that, didn't you ;-)
Seriously, beautiful pattern of lines and colours, falling into perfect thirds. For myself, I'd have preferred it in a straight format, but you know how unadventuroua i am about framing.
