another gem here Jono - together with the lovely light on the water, i really enjoy how the mist/spray adds a luminocity to the background. The bird and profile in the BG serve to add good reference to the scales here. thanx as always. adrian

Hi Flick - it was taken outside the sloop inn, looking over to Porthminster beach, with lots of perspective compression at 200mm - I don't think I did anything much to it - the beach behind was in the shade and there was lots of spray. I also got thrown out of lots of places back then! (I grew up there, and Dad still lives there)
kind regards jono

Who remembers ANYTHING clearly from the late 60s??? I like the human figure at the left, and the bird in the foreground. -- DF

This is a weird and intriguing image. Does the bay curve that sharply or did you layer the background in? (haven't been to St Ives since the late 60s, so don't remember it really)
Colour, rocks, spray, light and mistiness are gorgeous.
