for commerce by adrianox

oxford street, london

not much to this one, other than capturing an 'event' - historically the busiest shopping day, on the worlds? largest 'high' street.

this is the 2nd time oxford street has been closed, both times to encourage shoppers. It was pretty darn cold, and the shops were warm and inviting - i suspect they did a roaring trade.

Great shot, makes me want to run and hide. A claustophobic's nightmare.

Wonderful! How did you get the guy on the unicycle to pose in the middle of the frame? Looks like spring break without the heat. LVPG

thanks Jono & Tim, As i intimated, 'twas was the pj in me prompted me to post this one, noticed a very similar pic in the Independent today, so the instinct is ok. I may replace it over time, and you are spot on Jono - 'twas awful. cheers, adrian

Nice use of focal length to compress the crowds so as to show how densely packed and hassled they feel. Truly seasonal! Tim
