Yes Shelby, you can spend several days here just roaming around the lake (28 miles long)
The Creek shot in Comp is one of the feeder streams for this lake. Thank you! - Albert

Thanks all:) It is a very very cold lake. I've never seen waterskiers without wet or dry suits. I'd love to see your B&W version Tim... feel free to post it in a DPreview thread! - Albert

I like this a lot. Am gong through a bit of an Ansel Adams phase at the moment so I had a hint of a feeling that this might look even lovelier in B&W and I think I was right. I used NIK Color Effects Pro B&W conversion filter on it with a strong red filter and a big increase in brightness, then tweaked levels. After that, a high-pass hard light sharpen. It looked quite lovely. Bu then, so does your version! Tim.

The lake is that really cold colour. I can feel how cold the water is just looking at it.
Great Albert. Regards Paul

Nice conmposition. Is it the clarity of the air that makes the perspective so strange. the distant mountains look as sharp as those in the foreground. I can almost taste the fresh air!
Flick.
