Very nice Flick, for me you've captured someone who has a zest for life.
Best wishes,
Shelby

She is indeed, and has such a vivacious look to her! Tim

She's not bad at all, is she (Sylvia I mean). she's in her 60s and still very beautiful

See, anyone can look like a film star if the photographer is good! Tim

Yes, color would have made it much more Dorris Day or Julie Andrews. B&W is absolute Hitchckock.

I can't guess who - reveal yourself ;-)
i certainly didn't intend the image to be macabre in any way, but if people see that element, that's fine by me.
Actually it's interesting in that the original colour version is quite innocuous. Obviously the conversion has added something I hadn't anticipated - LOL!

Not certain if your a fan of Hitchcock, but this could be from one of his movies. Disagreements aside-- great movie retro pic. guess who

LOL! Never mind, she looks blissfully unaware ;-))

Great composition - slightly disturbing, the windmill looks like it might be about to decapitate her! jono

Thanks David. this was totally spontaneous, in the sense that i didn't pose her. i took several of her waiting for our other friend to climb the hill to the windmill, and this was the one i liked because of the way her hair is blowing.

I like this very very much, Flick. The perspective gives Sylvia a commanding presence, and the windmill blade, clouds, and grass stalks endow the image with loads of interesting context. Well done! -- DF
