Old tree and gate in the morning light by Quentin Bargate

Essex, England

Some great light this morning (12 November). And yes, the tree is on a slight hill... This is opposite the entrance to our house, so very much "local enviroment" :-)

Ha, I don't think Gainsborough or Constable has much to worry about from me, but thanks anyway, Nigel - Quentin

Another cracking english landscape with those sumptuous colours courtesy of mother earth! However, I am having difficulty deciding whether you are our modern day Gainsborough or Constable. I think I'll let you choose. ;-)
