The more I look at this, the more I like it. Her face seems very well proportioned in the shadow, yet the shadow boob looks cartoon like. Well done! Regards Paul

I think it's more cubist than abstract, but it's quite abstract enough for this competition. Original and interesting but not disturbing to me. - Warren

Thanks, Flick and Kim. I tried both of Kim's cropping suggestions. They would greatly simplify the image, but if the cutoff were just below or just above the breast, the crops might also appear more obvious and thus even more "disturbing" for Flick. Anyway, what I like about the image is its complexity and the ambiguity resulting from interplay of three or even four images: of the veil, of the shadow on the veil, of the person just touching the veil, and of the brick wall in the background. In that sense, it is perhaps puzzling, but not abstract at all.

This is very beautiful! I love the warm tones. The interplay between shadow and reflection has an interesting geometricity.
I would almost crop this into the upper and lower half, to further simplify and increase the abstract qualities.
But it's very nice as is! :-) --Kim

Yikes, this is one weird image, especially the way the nipple shadow connects with the nipple - bizarre and disturbing. Very effective.
Flick.

If I had read the comments on "Paint Spill" before posting this, I might not have considered this abstract enough. But, oh well.. Fritz
