  These gulls get awfully shirty if you go anywhere near their breeding sites - this one was heading straight at me - I thought I could use the lens as a defense system if it didn't give up!
Incidentally, for the ecologically minded - they nest all over the Isles of Scilly, so avoiding getting close to the sites is pretty impossible.
