Thanks Jono and Flick. I was very fortunate to see these two off in a field as I was driving. Pulled over and crept as near as I could without disturbing them....but the shot was still from a LONG way away....had the D2x in HSC. Focus seems pretty reliable so far, Jono, though I confess to using only the center focus point primarily. -- David

Very cute. The background is like a painting. I think i would have burned in the foreground a bit, or taken the exposure down on it...but that's just me. Well done for capturing these two so well and placing them so nicely in the frame.
