Angel by Flick Merauld

Cowley road graveyard, Oxford,UK

I find graveyards fascinating. Angels are symbols of eternal life, implying that we don't die but regenerate in another form. The heightened saturation has brought in bright, optimistic colours which indicate re-growth, rebirth, regeneration.

I like this shot and would agree with Quentin on the golden glow from below. The most glow appears on the face which I would imagine is the most important.

Thanks Quentin. The yellow is an indication of how different some colours look in Explorer. In Safari the profile is kept and the yellow is lime green, the blue is almost violet. I tinkered with the colour so that the majority would see it correctly, but in the end i just left it, as it looked equally valid.
