Bald in Bethnal Green - by JKirbs

I shot this handheld with my Minolta and a rectilinear 17mm Rokkor. Quickly, trying to catch the light and a rare moment of quiet on a busy street. My shooting buddy captured the irony as i pressed the shutter. I didn't notice until a long time afterwards. Neither of us care very much to frame our shots, and likely as not we'd just left the pub. I look less like Mr Burns in the shadows . . . (left)

Hi Kim, that wasn't the real point of the contrast, more a joke at my own expense. I was looking more at the hand gesture, waving at the shadows. But the fun part is the graffiti. My friend stops for graffiti :) - JK

Because your profile is in silhouette, the average viewer might not recognize the absence of hair you mention, or immediately catch the reference to wigs, except for your written explanation. My eye is captured by the graffitti! --Kim
