Thank you everyone for giving me your moral support and compliments. I'm glad you liked this photo of the leaping pug...I think it's one of my best ever! I own an FE-2, and I am becoming very interested in photography, despite constantly being nagged by Dad to go on "photo outings"! PF (DF's son)

Well caught,Paul, photographing animals in action is one of the most difficult things to do. But you did it! - Stephen

Hrumph - verticals are vertical, depth of field is great, rule of thirds is properly obeyed - Paul, I think we'll all have to give up! Lovely shot - now see if you can persuade your Dad to buy you a Kodak (if you need material for blackmail I'm sure I can provide it!). Best wishes, Jono Slack

The look on the dog's face is priceless :-) Love it -

This is an excellent picture, Paul. You got the dog sharp and used your depth of field well, so that the background doesn't distract yet allows us to see the human participation in the event. It's nicely composed too. Well done. An added bonus is that your dad will have to behave himself if you're watching the competition ;-)
