The Flyer
From all pasts
they shall see
and to their surprise
it will endure
into the night and beyond
all glory held
none for the sun
When dark moons poise
to be heard across several seas
one flyer, a sentinel
will call a beacon's light
unseen
for shore is far
and winds whip gust
a journey of separation
reaching, leaning in direction
it will overcome
As bright stars surrender
with their last spark
all life may resemble
that forgotten poet
of words, of language
stimulating
can only rekindle
a day at sea.
