I went for a hike up Looking Glass rock to burn off some steam -- what marvelous weathere here in the Spring in Western NC -- hard to beat it. There's a good bit of lens dust that's pretty apparent on some of the shots, but I went out more for a hike than to go shooting. I used 3 lenses on this hike: Canon 10-22mm, 24-105L, and 100mm Macro. The birds were chipring, the bees were bussing (a bit too closely and too agressively at times), and the breeze was gentle and appreciated. I've been to many places in the world and call many places "home", but I can honestly say this is one of the places where I really FEEL at home -- just insulated by trees, without the sound of traffic, no screaming kids, no girls chattering, and best of all, no country music! :)
