Still the same day, Sunday evening, the day after our arrival (!)

This is the main square in the walled city of Saint-Malo. A large-screen TV was set up for public viewing of the World Cup matches. The final game was played between France and Italy, for the championship.

The crowd was animated but generally polite and well-behaved.

We watched the beginning of the game, then headed for dinner.
