We've done this ride many times with my cycling group Le Peloton. I had the opportunity to introduce the route to three friends, Susan, Tom and Linda today. I rode with Susan last June from Vancouver to Banff for 1200 kilometers ( for photos of that remarkable tour, see https://pbase.com/kmsvw/gearup4cf2009 ). Tom drove one of the support vehicles for the entire trip at a mind-numbing speed that generally ranged between 8 to 20 km/hr. It was good to see him on a bike today! Linda is a long-time friend of Susan's. It was a delight to meet her today.
