Passing takes a little finesse. The trick to riding on the oval is to talk frequently to let everyone know where you are. You must be aware of others nearby before making a move or the results could be disastrous. When passing (always on the upper side of the track), you must shout "Stick!" to let the rider know you are coming up behind and that they must stick to the line.
