I was surprised to learn
that there is no dock at the village.
There had been a dock, once,
however a few years ago
it blew way during a fierce windstorm.
Therefore,
residents must take a small boat from the village
until they get to the government wharf, approx. a 20 minute ride.
From there, they must take a float plane
back to the city.
