SHELTON, CT - At approximately 7:45pm on April 10, Shelton Fire Companies 4 and 1 were dispatched to Nells Rock Road for an extrication. Emergency medical personnel were already on scene confirming a pin. The driver of the vehicle was the only one of the 3 passengers that was entrapped. It took approximately 10-15 minutes to remove the driver using two sets of spreaders, and two sets of cutters. All patients were transported to Bridgeport Hospital.
