MANHATTAN, NY - The first FDNY Medal Day to be held at City Hall Plaza since the September 11th terrorist attacks took place on Wednesday, June 2. Forty-two medals were presented to the bravest of New York’s Bravest on this sunny summer morning for acts of bravery and courage above and beyond the call of duty.
