ANSONIA, CT. - At approximately 10:36 a.m. on February 25, 2004, the Ansonia Fire Department responded to a working structure fire at 62 Ford St. Three of the city’s fire companies responded to the blaze in a 1.5-story wood-frame structure. The fire was reported to have been accidentally caused by discarded ashes, and caused an estimated $125,000 dollars in damages.
