西望洋聖堂由聖奧斯定會修士始建於1622年.
1853年進行大規模重建,過去是葡國士兵祈禱及望彌撒的地方.
聖堂呈歌德式建築風格,右邊為尖塔鐘樓,左邊則為主教私邸.
