Toccoa Falls - Georgia

Is located ont he campus of Toccoa Falls College and only costs $1 to view and it the best dollar you can spend on anything. A shotr walk from the entrance down a path along the stream and you are at the base of this falls. There are various large rock formations there for you to explore or just sit on and admire nature's beauty.

These shots were all taken with a Canon 20D and 24-70L Lens (and a few hand held with 70-200L IS)using a B+W ND103 and B+W CP mounted on a Bogen 3021Pro tripod and using a Bogen 322RC2 Ball/Grip head.

I rate this falls a 8 and the access difficulty a 1.

We just had a youth camp at TFC and baptism at the base of the Falls...Beautiful

My family & I visited the falls last week. I am very heavy and can' t walk far, nor uphill. I was pleseantly surprised that this was something that I could actually 'do' and 'see'! Thank you, God, for such a blessing in the middle of my vacation!

I visited the falls recently with a friend. As we sat alone at the base on a very large boulder, I could hear the voices of those who had perished. I could hear the voices of the Indians who once wandered here. I could hear the water falling down, sending rainbows of color hither and yon. I closed my eyes and breathed nature in, felt the mists of water on my skin. I reached out to the waterfall and felt the touch of God. It is a spiritual place. You have done an outstanding job with the pictures. Tim

Visited this awesome site two days ago; you have captured their beauty. It's sad the number of people who perished when the dam above the falls broke in 1977. Such splendor but such sorrow too. Visit if you can, anyone who visits will see for themselves how lovely they really are. I've hiked miles to visit a waterfall but none were quite as pretty as these...

The photos of Toccoa Falls are so pretty. They would make really nice puzzles. Can almost hear the sound of the water falling.

Very good. I am traveling to Cherokee this summer and we might stop there for lunch and to see the falls I travel with parents because I'm only in Elementary School. I like the pictures.
