Well it took almost 8 months, but the room is done. Fabric is up, lights are set up, just have to get things organized and set up the backgrounds. I finally decdided to take an easy approach to hang the fabric. I used 22 guage steel cable and threaded it through the same bolts that are used for suspending drop ceilings (had plenty of them left over). I then used a turn-buckle to make the cable tight and then used standard 1/5 inch drapery hooks to hang the fabric. I spaced them evey foot or so, except on the ceiling piece I did it about every 6-8 inches since it had to support the weight of the fabric hanging from the ceiling.

I'll update these gallery once the backgrounds are done and up. The fabric is Commando cloth which should allow for good control of the light as it is not refelective. The room is a tad small, but I should be able to use 9 foot seamless.
