Starr came as a 10 weeks-old rescued kitten from the family who initially found her outside their backdoor, else she probably wouldn't have survived another day, being cold, malnourished, and at risk of being snatched by another animal for food. Starr had a rough start spiking high fevers twice within first three weeks, and had gone through an operation to remove unknown dead tissues beneath her lower chin, which may have caused the infection and fevers, however she is all healthy and rambunctious now thanks to medical care from Dr. Matt and staff at the Oakville Pet Hospital.
