After a two years tour of duty, Snowbirds Team Lead Maj. Ian McLean relinquished the command of the famed 431 Air Demonstration Squadron to Maj. Rob Mitchell in a change of command ceremony held on 19th January 2007 in the Snowbirds homebase of CFB Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
A dinner function was held at the Officers' Mess later that evening to celebrate this occasion as well as the retirement of Maj. McLean from the Canadian Forces after 25 years of dedicated service.
