Another baby Brad with a lot of processing.
Not sure if this highkey/negative space idea works on something that should be soft and cuddly.
Your honest thoughts?

I like high key on baby shots sometimes.. have to agree with the previous comments though.. especially bothered by the size of the hand and lack of nose except nostril holes

honest thoughts.... yes, and no. I think parts of it are fabulous (the hair and the eyes), but then I think the nose and the mouth start to look a little amphibious because they are a bit too white for my taste. If you could bring a little contrast back to the lips it would balance the dark hair nicely I think. And the right nostril (the viewers left) looks a bit unformed and awkward to me. And finally, because the hand is fades to white and blends with the background on the viewers left, to my eye it looks unusually large. I think you are close to having a great image here but to my eye it needs just a bit more work to pull it off. I hope you don't mind my saying that.

This sort of processing seems to be the latest thing in baby photos. I have received many like this from relatives of their babies.

I think it is most creative and attractive. In thumbnail it looks like an old snapshot, but at full size, the contrast is super powerful and very interesting. V

Interesting effort, but I'd like more depth.
