Finally felt confident enough today to venture out without facilities nearby and go exploring the backroads of Thompson.
With 400 head of milking cattle, the ability to feed them off the land is paramount. I hope in the forthcoming months the land and cattle -- and most importantly-- the family that works it all--will be illustrated in these pages.

It was more springlike than winter today with a fairly hard rain and lots of fog. I'm sure that will change, sooner rather than later.
