Patriots Training Camp

I've waited for 2 years for the planets to align, the weather to co-operate and for the TC to be held 'after hours'. As it was, I drove about an hour and fifteen minutes, expecting TC to be almost over by the time I got there, but found it hadn't started! So for 2 hours I was in blizz. My fave, Ted Bruschi, is out with a broken wrist, and Tom Brady had a very light (imho) workout, but it was great to see my heros in action.
This is Willie Andrews, a rookie who looks like he took a direct hit.

Your heros in action. It looks spectacular and interesting sport, even if we here in Greece don't know it well.

I'm glad you're keeping a close eye on the San Diego Patriots. This is their year!

They'll never get past the Chargers. Maybe you'll get a few pix of those games ;-)

Cuz I'm stoopid?
It was very very sunny, and the shadows were caused by the guys (trainers I guess) sitting right on top of the action. I did vary the ISO some, but should have messed around more with a shallower f/stop and faster SS. This is a big crop, most of the action was mid field.

Nice stop action shot.

I'm curious... what was your thinking behind such a low ISO here?
snootydog10-Aug-2006 02:17
Nice shot, and what a fun thing for you. I love shooting sports. Its probably one of my favorite types of photography but alas I don't get to do it often.
