Seeing things Nose to Nose :)

Went thru a lot more of the NECCC stuff. Uncle Sam, meet the school teacher.

Also just calibrated my monitor, and I'm convinced it's messing with RSE-the pics look great coming out of the camera, well saturated and good contrast but they seem very flat once RSE gets done processing the 'as shot' settings. Need to look into this, anyone got any suggestions?

Canon EOS 5D
1/160s f/2.8 at 200.0mm iso125 with Flash full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Lovely crop and angle. I would like to see into the frame the whole second face at the back.
But it is a beautiful shot!

Don't mention monitors to me! They drive me mad. Now I have a 1440 x 900 wide LCD that causes jpeg artifacts in other peoples PBase pics - how on earth can I be sure about my own!

I'm no expert but maybe we have to think of monitor + graphic card = screen image quality. So Anew graphic card is my next move!

Another thing I try to do is look at my PBase pages on other peoples monitors

This is a great pic and could be an advert for colour processing , so don't change too much!

Looks good to me Karen. If you're processing using the Adobe RGB color space (which most people recommend) remember that the web (and many photo labs) use sRGB and so if you don't convert to sRGB before uploading they may come out looking a little flat. But this looks excellent to me--including a nice composition, terrific colors, etc.
