Jen

graduated Saturday and will be around all summer before grad school starts.
Maybe if I'm lucky I can get Jill to sit with her sister :)

Playing a little with a hair light, also added a little softening but not sure I like it, it was good and crisp after normal sharpening, but I think the pose holds the soft.

More here, will be adding more as the processing backlog gets cleared.

Just fix the left side where the arm/hand looks
a little funny and crack a joke so she opens up
with a hint of a smile.
Congrats on graduation!

She's a real beauty and I like the softness on her hair. I think it's very suitable for this kind of photo. Excellent portrait.

The family likeness is very evident. A lovely portrait Karen. Good work

The soft is just right here, Karen. Do not oversharpen pictures and especialy avoid it on portraits. It could render unwanted skin details and doesn't looks good anyway. This one is just right as it is (I speak about the picture treatment, of course)... :-)

Looks beautiful to me. I like the softness.

It is soft enough for me Karen. A beautiful portrait indeed. Continue to play with the natural light (more or less from your window). It is very interesting!

This is awful, Karen. You should probably give up photography -- obviously, it's not your thing. If you take my advice, you'll ship those lenses and camera bodies out west, where they can be put to good use. Jen, I'm sorry you had to be put through this.

Karen -- you continue to stun me! Great shot!!!
