Petulant Peppers

Did not behave themselves today so their sentence will be determined by you: Fry 'em! or Stuff 'Em.

I don't take any credit for this idea; I saw it here some time ago, I can't remember who did it, but s/he did it very well. This was an extremely difficult exercise, beginning when I couldn't cut a straight line into the first pepper. And ending when my 'blur' tool wouldn't work in PS, trying to line up all the uneven sizes and shapes of 16 slices.

Everyone is gonna have to move down about 3 seats at the table; New people are lnked: Alphabet Soup . Please make sure you pass the bowls! -Thanks!-

I can't believe you actually CUT the peppers. I was sure this was a photoshop trick. This is fabulous. I am humbled and completely impressed. Great shot.

And look what you've started, btw! It's infectious! Everyone wants to play ABC soup. Thanks for doing this - it's been so much fun, and I feel like we're such a fun community!

Firstly, your work here is amazing.
Raw in a salad.
Grilled, place in plastic bag til cooled, remove peel, slice over toasted slices of french bread stick rubbed over with garlic, add grilled bacon, tomato & goats cheese...yummo !!

Very nice Karen.
Neal Nye29-Nov-2004 00:41
A good idea impressively well executed. It probably would have taken less time to paint them in oil or acrylic. You have inspiring patience.
Jeff Horner29-Nov-2004 00:41
Brilliant! And well done!
Carmen29-Nov-2004 00:34
Fry 'em!!! Well worth the effort; if it'd been me I would've gotten frustrated and hacked them to tiny bits without even giving them a trial.
petesie29-Nov-2004 00:25
Yummm, I'd just eat them one at a time. Crunch, crunch. Beautiful job, Karen.
Guest 29-Nov-2004 00:22
Nice work Karen all I've got to say is.....

Get stuffed!!! ; )
Karen Leaf29-Nov-2004 00:15
LOL, stuffing them is the only way the slices will stay together! Maybe. I am done picking up all the different rings. They're destined to be fried, over a nice rare steak!
jude29-Nov-2004 00:10
Very cool.. they look a bit like gummy lifesavers.. with stems. lol
Gayle P. Clement29-Nov-2004 00:00
Great work, Karen, Stuff them with a cold salad. You wouldn't want to wilt the peppers and lose the colors from your hard work.
Elaine (etfitz)28-Nov-2004 23:42
Great job! I say stuff'em!
Guest 28-Nov-2004 23:41
Beautiful colors today. I like this a lit. I tried to do something like this once but figured out I don't own a knife sharp enough to get the job done.
Herb 28-Nov-2004 23:28
Interesting, nice job.
