Color My World

Chicago and Earth Wind & Fire

WOW, what a concert; pretty near 4 hours of high energy, incredible sound, and fond memories. The bands played together for a few songs at The Beginning then separately and finished with several together at the end, seamlessly blending their unique sounds for the finale, 25 or 6 to 4.
The ticket is sitting on a pillow, with my head right beside it, I will catch up tomorrow. Life will get back to normal tomorrow, too.

If you get a chance to see/hear Philip Bailey (EW&F) grab it; you will never regret it. An incredible range in his voice. Wow.

And I should have added that hearing Chicago/Earth Wind and Fire would be like a time machine. Wish I could have been there! I'll have to check if their tour takes them here.

We went to Annie Lennox/Sting a couple of weeks ago in Vancouver and the ticket was printed similarly about 'no cameras' - but the visuals that accompanied the fantastic music werre so awesome I kept wishing I'd sprung for better seats and snuck my camera in!

I'll bet!!

Were they both reconstituted from the original bands?

It's not an artist I've came across, but the next time I'm at home on the net I'll look them up!

Wow..really a great band Karen. I visted a concert from this band and Barry White some years agoo in Switzerland. I like very much the music from the seventies.

Never heard of this artist, but I'm glad you had what sounds like (no pun) a great time.
