This is what greeted me, after getting up, and going back to bed for an hour this morning. The sun hadn't yet cleared the mountain in back of the cabin, but it was just enough to set off the beautiful foliage on the far side.

Spent the past 2 days meandering aimlessly (read: getting lost), looking for covered bridges in central, southern Vermont. Found quite a few and will post later. It's been several years since I've gone just to Leaf peep, if you will, and God's recreation is certainly beyond imagination.
