thanks for your comment. You have perceived very well what I was trying to comunicate: the paradox of being alienated and alone in the context of of a city of several milions people. In this case the image was much easier to shoot, since is a pure "visual representation" of that particular feeling, and it's actually a self-portrait taken with a tripod.
Interestingly enough, this images deals with the same sad story you've told in the previous photograph. Yet it is completely different in both style and message. The scale incongruity -- small figure and long alley -- increases the feeling of isolation. The dark colors are also important to meaning. It is a somber, melancholy subject, and your use of light and color underscore that mood perfectly.
