On a walk down to Mill Pond, Lisa and I came across a turtle hatch in progress. We saw 10-15 baby turtles leaving their underground nest and head, somewhat erratically, toward their new home in the pond. We even saw several climb out of the hole.
When we first arrived, I did not have a flash or tripod, so the first few shots were hand-held in waning light. We hurried back to the house to get the rest of my gear, and returned in time to see one more turtle leave the nest.
